Get out your crayons and markers, glitter and glue because it’s time once again for the City of Hesperia’s annual coloring contest. Kindergarten through 6th grade students are invited join in the fun and show off their creativity by coloring one of the official “It Begins with You and Me” coloring pages. This event is held each year in April as part of the annual Water Awareness Month, Keep California Beautiful and Earth Day Campaigns.
The contest begins today and runs through April 22, 2011. Children attending school in the Hesperia Unified School District can pick-up their coloring pages from the Hesperia City Hall located at 9700 Seventh Avenue or download the page from the City’s website. All entries must be received at City Hall no later than 4 pm on April 22, to qualify for the contest judging and prizes. Coloring pages will be judged on creativity and neatness.
