Budget Award

The City of Hesperia prides itself on making information available to the citizens, business owners and visitors. The City of Hesperia's Finance Division has received a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award  and a Certificate Of Recognition for Budget Preparation for its annual budget for the Fiscal Year 2022-23.

In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communication device. The award and the certificate, presented by the Government Finance Officers Association, is awarded as the highest award in governmental budgeting.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Report Award

The City of Hesperia prides itself on making information available to the citizens, business owners and visitors. For the twentieth consecutive year, the City of Hesperia's Finance Division has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Report  for the 2020-2021 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report .

The certificate, presented by the Government Finance Officers Association, is awarded as the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
