Planning Commission meetings are now open to the public at 25% maximum capacity to allow for social distancing. Meeting attendees will be admitted on a first come, first served basis, with doors opening at 6 p.m. For more information, please view our public notice.

Overview
The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to the City Council regarding the General Plan, the Development Code and approving land subdivisions. It promotes the coordination of local plans and programs with other public agencies. Commissioners received a stipend of $100 per meeting attended. Applicants must reside within the City of Hesperia or sphere of influence and be a United States Citizen as verified by current voter registration with the County Elections Office.
Planning Commission members are required to file Form 700 Conflict of Interest Statements with the Fair Political Practices Commission.
