City of Hesperia Facilities Now Open

On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, Hesperia facilities closed due to COVID-19. On May 26th, all Hesperia facilities have reopened to the public with normal business hours. Facial coverings and social distancing will be enforced when conducting business in City facilities.

In accordance with the California Department of Public Health guidance for non-essential gatherings, the following City of Hesperia events are being cancelled and/or postponed:

Hesperia Recreation & Park District Programs and Facilities

The Hesperia Recreation & Park District (HRPD) suspended all programming and closed their facilities on March 20, 2020. HRPD anticipates re-opening on July 4th. Residents who would like to continue utilizing the public parks are encouraged to follow the California Department of Public Health’s order on social distancing.

Hesperia City Council Meeting

In accordance with new community guidelines from local, state, and federal public health agencies, the City of Hesperia will allow for remote participation in upcoming City Council meetings. The public will not be permitted to attend the meeting within the council chambers, but may submit written comments to be read by staff. For more information, please view our public notice.
