Do you want to learn more about disaster preparedness and emergency response in your community? Are you interested in becoming more active in your community? Residents now have the opportunity to do just that, by enrolling in the Hesperia CERT Training.
The Hesperia CERT Training provides a unique opportunity for residents to learn how they can assist emergency personnel during a catastrophic event. This 20-hour course is designed to provide the community with basic disaster response training in: disaster preparedness, fire safety, medical operations, search and rescue, CERT organization, terrorism, and disaster psychology. CERT participants will gain better understanding of how to prepare themselves and their family members as well as hot to provide assistance to emergency personnel during an emergency event.
