Tips for Responsible Pet Ownership

It is easy to be a responsible pet owner. Just remember that your dog or cat depends on you to provide companionship, healthy food, veterinary care, shelter and safety.

License your pet according to your local laws and have your pet wear the license tag at all times. An additional identification tag showing your name, address and telephone number can also assist with returning your pet to his home. If you leave your pet at home while on vacation, remember to put an emergency phone number on your pet for an easy return home or notify license officials of an alternate phone number to call.
