A current rabies vaccine is required to license your dog. Low-cost vaccinations are available at local veterinarians.


Procedure

  • Complete the dog license application and submit the from and fees to Hesperia Animal Services. Fees can be mailed in or brought to Hesperia Animal Services located at 11011 Santa Fe Avenue.
  • Do not leave blank spaces or license can not be processed.
  • You must attach the required certificates to this form to receive a license. Required certificates include:
    • Rabies certificate
    • Alteration certificate
    • Proof of age (65 or older)

Your permanent license and tag should arrive in one to two weeks. If you do not receive your license, please call (760) 947-1700. Your licensed is renewed on a yearly basis.
