- Vehicle sales are prohibited in vacant lots and public rights of way.
- Private vehicles for sale on a vacant lot or in the right of way are subject to citation each day they remain there.
- Vehicles may only be sold on private property.
- Only one vehicle may be sold at a time on your private property.
- The vehicle must be registered to a resident of that property.
Citations Transfer to New Owner
Should you purchase a vehicle from a vacant lot or the right of way, it may have been cited. Those citations are attached to the vehicle and payment will be due upon the next valid registration.
You will be responsible for those fines, even if you were not the owner at the time of citation.
